The Pokémon Company International — Logo Design & Brand Lockups

As Senior Creative Lead at TPCi, I created visual identities for key programs and initiatives—including the Pokémon Community Ambassador Program , Pokémon Trainer Central, and Pokémon Fantasy Team—each requiring executive-level approval from and collaboration with the President of The Pokémon Company International.

The Challenge: Design logos and lockups that honor Pokémon's beloved global brand equity while establishing distinct identities for sub-brands and programs. Each mark needed to work across diverse applications—from digital platforms to physical events—while maintaining consistency with master brand guidelines and appealing to competitive players, collectors, and the broader Pokémon community.

Design Process: I began each project with exploratory sketching to establish multiple conceptual directions, then refined selected concepts into polished presentations for executive review. The work balanced playful energy with competitive credibility, ensuring each lockup could stand alone while clearly connecting to the Pokémon umbrella. Deliverables included comprehensive lockup variations, usage guidelines, and assets prepared for deployment across global markets.

The Result: A suite of flexible, brand-coherent visual identities that successfully launched multiple TPCi initiatives. Each logo system received final sign-off from executive leadership and continues to represent these programs across digital, print, and experiential touchpoints worldwide.
