Pokémon Mystery Dungeon — Game Launch Minisite
As Creative Director at Rasterkraft/Plexipixel Studio, I directed the creative vision for the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game launch minisite, serving as the primary creative liaison between our studio and The Pokémon Company International throughout the project lifecycle.
The Challenge: Create an immersive digital experience that captured the whimsy and adventure of the Mystery Dungeon series while driving pre-launch excitement and educating players about gameplay mechanics. The site needed to appeal to both longtime fans of the dungeon-crawler spin-off series and newcomers discovering Mystery Dungeon for the first time.
Design Leadership: I established the creative direction, ensuring the site's vibrant, exploratory aesthetic honored the game's adventurous spirit while maintaining cohesion with broader Pokémon brand standards. Working closely with the client, I guided the studio team through concepting, design execution, and iterative refinement—balancing TPCi's strategic goals with engaging user experience design. The resulting site featured dynamic storytelling, character showcases, and gameplay reveals designed to build anticipation for launch.
The Result: A polished, engaging minisite that successfully introduced the game to audiences while strengthening the relationship between our studio and The Pokémon Company International for future collaborations.
